In 1981,the first set of machine was completed.

In 1987,the first one-side sharpening machine was produced.

In 1989,the first double-side sharpening machine was made.

In 1991,the automatic one-side sharpening machine, the second generation, was introduced to the world.

In 1993,the first vertical scissors sharpening machine was made in Yangjiang city.

In 1994,one-side scissors sharpening machine, double-side automatic blazing machine and gear opening machine are introduced at different periods of time.

In 1995, all the mechanical technologies are well on the way toward maturity.

In 1997, diamond and rubber grinding wheel, the first of its kind inside the country, is born, and was granted patent in 1998.

In 1998, the first automatic compensating one-side grinding machine is introduced in Yangjiang. The knives grinded on this machine give lines of rays, marking the beginning of medium rank knives inside the country. In the knife industry, this period is called "the period of rays lines".

In 1999, the patent of on-off structure for blazing machine is born. This structure brings visible economic efficiency to the people.

In 2000,new generation of hanging style double-side grinding machine is born. It will bring a whirl of revolution to double-side sharpening machines, marking the leading position of Yangjiang City in manufacturing some of the grinding machines. The complete set of machine is given patent. The revolutionary improvement of the vertical grinding machine will bring the most efficiency to the scissors making industry and tools making industry, because ladder-like guide rail is applied in vertical grinding for the first time.

The year 2001 is an exciting and fruitful year. The biggest state run knife and scissors machinery of Yangjiang city has merged with the biggest private knife and scissors machinery factory(Yangjiang Light Machinery Equipment Factory). It is the best com bination of quality and management. It marks a new stage fir product quality and product performances. The new company was renamed "Vat Power Company Ltd.", the biggest knife and scissors machinery company inside the country. The introduction of its new products V-3.8 and V-6.0 one-side grinding machine will bring a whirl of revolution. The use of high precision sensor, CNC control system, high-molecular guide rail and effectiveness treatment in vibration indicate that the knife and scissors machinery of Yangjiang city is reaching the international level. A grinding tools and grinding materials department has been set up in the company ,a department made up of professionals for studying and producing high rank sand wheel grinding tools of advanced technology and high standard, bringing the hardware products inside the country to a higher level.
